Please join us at Sutherland Oval this weekend as we celebrate Indigenous Round!

Over the past few weeks, Indigenous members of the Crocs have been learning songs, dance, painting, language and culture through workshops organised by our Club.

Kicking off from 3pm and at half time of our A Grade match, we’ll be hosting some very special celebrations, including:
  • Welcome to country by Aunty Deanna
  • Half time entertainment, hosted by Uncle Col Hardy
  • Traditional dance with didgeridoo accompaniment by Damo John, and Dance Leaders Layla and Tameika Fitzgerald, Glen Mitchell and Jai McEwen
  • Silent auctions of NRL-signed Indigenous jerseys (Sharks, Bulldogs and Rabbitohs), plus signed boots by Josh Addo Carr featuring Indigenous artwork by Wayne Viser
A huge shout out and thanks to our mates and valued sponsor Shanes Trees for their support and helping make this happen. 🐊
We pay our respects to the traditional custodians of our lands, the Gwegal speaking people of the Dharawal nation, and recognise their continuing connection to land, water and community. We pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
